Day One

Today marks the first day of my diet, and weight loss plan. Summer is here and I finally decided that I need to lose my baby weight. I weighed myself this morning and I'm at 157.5. I was 115 prior to getting pregnant and I would like to go back to that if not a little less. So my plan is to lose the weight in 3 months. But if it takes a little bit longer, that's okay. I want to do it in a healthy way, so it doesn't come back, and my body is in peak condition so to speak. I'm super excited and can't wait to start seeing results!

I will have a journal of what I eat every day so that I'm more aware of what I'm putting in my body. I've already started so I'm already marking it down. If I find any yummy healthy recipes I'll put them on here for your viewing pleasure! I've already found a couple so I'll put the links on here. I'll only put recipes on here that I've personally tried. So I know they are good.

Also, So I can keep track of my progress I'm taking pictures throughout my journey! And yes, they aren't the most flattering, but it is my way of motivating myself, and hopefully some others too!

So here we go! I hope this inspires some people. If I can lose the weight, anyone can. I've tried diets and things, and they've never worked for me, and I always relapse and go back to eating whatever! So monitoring my food intake and my calorie burn and WHAT I eat is going to definitely help me on my journey! Well a journey starts with a single step, and today is that single step. =]
